River Stone is a residence designed to feel as though it was unearthed rather than built. The project serves as a masterclass in material honesty, utilizing the raw, primal weight of river-washed stone and textured plaster to create a sanctuary of “Quite Luxury”.

Located in the heart of the American South, the design reflects modern suburban cliches in favor of a timeless, rhythmic architecture. Throughout the home, the structural arch acts as a recurring visual signature- softening the monumental scale of the stone features and framing the play of natural light to create an atmosphere of profound tranquility. River Stone is not merely a residence; it is a sensory exploration of the tension between the ancient and the avant-garde.
