Limestone House -26
This study explores warmth, texture, and restraint through a palette of natural stone, lime washed surfaces, soft textiles, and muted neutrals. The design balances contemporary forms with timeless materials, creating a space that feels collected rather than decorated.
Vertical wall paneling and textured stone provide architectural depth, while sculptural seating, layered lighting, and curated artwork establish moments of visual interest without overwhelming the room. Natural light was considered as a primary design element, emphasizing material variation and creating a calm, lived-in atmosphere throughout the day.
The objective of this study was to investigate how subtle contrasts in texture, proportion, and light can create a refined interior that feels both elevated and comfortable.
